General Information

Have something you want to learn?  Email me at emily@youremaker.com and suggest a class!

Where are the classes?   February classes are held at 103 Heritage Dr. Beginning March 1, classes will permanently move to 127 Smith Ave.

What should I bring?  Materials (including sewing machines) are be provided by You’re Maker unless otherwise stated in class description.

How experienced do I need to be?  Ages and skill levels are included in class description.  Before attending a class, you will need to have machine experience or attend a Basics class.  “Machine experience” means you know how to thread a machine, make a bobbin, and sew basic stitches.

Monthly classes.  How do they work?   Once you sign up you will be invoiced for the next month two weeks before the new month.  You will have 1 week to either pay for the invoice or notify You’re Maker that you will not continue with classes.  After the deadline, your spot will be opened up to the public.

What if I need to cancel?  You can receive a full refund if you notify me 48 hrs in advance of the class.  If you cancel within 48 hours of the class you will be charged for materials and refunded the remainder.  On average, class materials cost between $10 and $15.
